What is this course about?

The aim of this training course is:

To develop the competence of the participants to provide the Dapivirine Vaginal Ring (“the Ring”) as per the current National Dapivirine Vaginal Ring Implementation Guidelines​

What is covered?

At the end of the training, participants will have the knowledge and competence to:​ 

• Assess, counsel, initiate and manage a client on the Ring 
• Support and counsel a client to make an informed choice for an HIV prevention option ​
• Educate and support a client on how to use the Ring effectively
• Use the Ring implementation guidelines and job aids​

• Report  the clinical information utilising the requisite reporting tools 

Who is it for?

All health care staff (clinicians, counsellors, health promotion, peer educators, community health workers and data capturers)
